We had a few sales yesterday from the cruise ship. Quite a few folks stayed here in town wandering around discovering things and shopping here and there. Good to see them. The city government sure spruced the place up for the cruise ship visitors even though they're only here a few hours. Gee, I wonder why the rest of you here don't get such fine treatment?

Our weather remains absolutely picture-postcard perfect! Visitors are certainly getting their money's worth, and we like it, too. Some rain would be nice, but I suspect our rainy season ended way sooner than we needed it to. Enjoy the green hillsides while they last.

It's quite heartening watching the effort and all the good will by Mexicans to help Acapulco and the surrounding region get back on their feet. Not a peep about Acapulco in any non-Mexican news source since the days after the hurricane, but here it remains our main focus.
