I think this Monday may have been a wee bit less hot than Sunday, but just barely. No clouds and few breezes have added to the warmth around here. The green on the hillsides is already looking quite withered.

But more foreigners keep arriving, and that is indeed a promising sign. There's a bit more hustle and bustle downtown as merchants stock up their wares and spiffy up their shops. Not sure what flight fares look like. I hope folks are finding decent prices.

Not a day goes by that I don't thank my lucky stars for being exactly where I am. This is the life that following my heart gave me. ¡Viva el amor! ¡Viva la felicidad! ¡Viva Zihuatanejo!

Canto del Mar is a hidden jewel of a lodging in La Madera within easy walking of excellent restaurants, the beach and downtown. I highly recommend it for its peace and quiet as well as for its wonderful owners who take such excellent care of their guests.
