We have seen him at Cassanova's, Triton on La Ropa beach, the place next to Bistro Del Mar, and another place on La Ropa Beach that I can't remember the name of. I am sure he plays somewhere every night of the week.

For many years he was at Coconuts a couple of times per week.
My favorite place to hear him (and his band) is at Santa Prisca on a Thursday Pozole afternoon...assuming he is still playing there.
I try to do that once a season- it's all I can take...
We feel exactly the same way. Meant to go in July, but it was HOT.
