Zihuatanejo Bay 2022 - 2023 FREE SHORE SNORKELING

I have been working on this Youtube video for quite a while and collecting clips for even longer. The result is a longer than average video showing all kinds of cool behaviours and facial expressions and a lot of volume and diversity in Zihuatanejo Bay.
A collection of undersea photos and video clips that were all shot inside of Zihuatanejo Bay, Guerrero Mexico, using Olympus TG series cameras while shore based snorkeling, self guided and at no cost. Some shots are from Playa Contramar but the majority were filmed around the large rocks of Playa La Ropa and then all the way around the south shore out to Playa Las Gatas.
It's a long video with a LOT more to still process.
As always I am greatly thankful to Rob and this board for ALL the wonderful information contained, especially when we get concerned for Zihua friends with weather and security issues.

That should be compulsory viewing in schools to try to reduce the amount of trash in the bay.

Absolutely AWESOME video! A fascinating collection of some of the marine life that snorkelers in Zihuatanejo should be able to enjoy, for which reason the bay should be off limits for any type of commercial fishing, including lobster, oysters and octopus. But first we need to have a Director de Ecología Municipal that even gives a sh¡t, unlike the one currently in office.

Thank you for sharing your amazing videos and photos for those of us that don’t snorkel or dive. They provide us with a way to marvel at the sea life in the bay. You are very talented.
