The Desfile Navideña was wonderful! What a pleasure to behold! The city did an excellent job as did all the participants. Our mayor's lovely wife danced wonderfully as she marched along in the parade with one of the groups. Most of the marchers were marvelously costumed. The small floats were beautifully done. A lot of talent and creativity went into the event. And the spectators also had a terrific time. The crowd kept growing and growing during the parade, but the last couple of groups were so far behind that most people left before they passed by, and one of the was one of the more creative floats of people pretending to be reindeer flying in front of Santa's sleight, which was a decorated bucket of a monster-sized front-end loader with a special contraption built and attached to the front that held the people who looked like they were flying through the air. I posted photos and videos taken by better photographers with better equipment than I have on my Facebook page. Everyone involved with putting together this parade deserves the gratitude of Zihuatanejo's citizens. ¡Nos divertimos muchísimo, y ustedes nos hicieron lucir muy bien!

Many Mexicans will be busy watching the final match of the Mexican League's futbol season this Sunday night, so please excuse us if you hear incredibly loud cheering and loud shouts of ¡GOL! every now and then. We'll be distracted for part of the evening.

Finally, a good idea! Looks like drones will be used more to monitor the ocean for sharks and crocs off our the beaches. A much better use for them than they've been used for up to now by any level of government. I wonder how long this will last.

El pequeño cocodrilo inofensivo que causó tanto pánico y terror ayer que la Marina fue instruida por el gobierno de correr toda la gente afuera del agua en Playa Principal. Pobrecito. Mira cuánto miedo tienen los visitantes caminando cerca de ello.
