The newly revived Mexicana airlines is offering discounted rates to Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa from the Felipe Ángeles airport (AIFA), the new one in Zumpango just north of Mexico City.

We had a bit of a storm blow through the region today. Earlier this afternoon there were high winds along the coast, and in some parts it rained. It's currently sprinkling with some cool gusts making things interesting for the thousands of tourists out'n'about.
