One of the local newspapers is saying that homeless people staying on a dry-docked yacht at Las Salinas apparently set it on fire this morning around 6:30, so that was where all the smoke came from before it floated out to sea. What a bummer to wake up to. Especially for the yacht owner! There's an excellent video of the fire posted on my Facebook page.

It seemed like the majority of visitors we saw on our evening stroll were foreigners. They filled the waterfront restaurants and were also out strolling. Daniel's was doing a good business with some musicians playing and people dancing. Good to see!

Except for the smoke in the bay, it was another absolutely picture-postcard-perfect day in our sunny paradise. Some cloud cover early in the day kept the temps mild, and the bay water continues cooling. But hey, no snow in the forecast!
