The street behind the Pemex across from the bus stations there are acouple of mechanics that have done small jobs for me and my 10 year old car at a reasonable price. Buena Suerte.

In the mean time, if it's the tank, rub a bar of soap over the spot and it will hold until you can get it in.
In our RV days we had many gas tank leaks, and the mechanics always did a great job. Relax.
