While Acapulco continues struggling to put itself back together, things continue going well for us in Zihuatanejo. I believe there's no doubt that we are getting some of the tourists who would normally have taken their vacations in Acapulco. The big question is will they return? And do we want them to?

Each Saturday evening there is wonderful mellow guitar music for the exhibition of local art in Plaza del Artista. Please remember to come next Saturday.

This Saturday evening Daniel's restaurant had a terrific trío playing beautiful boleros, the soul music of Mexico. Definitely the place to be for local flavor.

A couple of days ago the local forecast predicted temps around 16°C for this Sunday morning, but now I'm not seeing such low temps in the forecast. 19°C appears to be what we should expect. These cool mornings are wonderful! Gotta enjoy them while they last! The current weather pattern usually lasts until about early or mid-May before abruptly changing and getting warm and humid. Of course, we also get fires during this time of year as the forests dry out, and we're expecting a severe water shortage. So yes, there is trouble expected in paradise.
