Tumbling over and rock danger at La Ropa

This current week something is up with the weather. Maybe this happens all the time but the marked off swimming area next to Rosies (further south a bit) with the yellow floats has lost all the sand about 20' out to sea and is nothing but rocks that will bloody your feet and with the height of the slow-moving but "bowl you over" brick wall waves, it not too pleasant wading out beyond the breaks any longer. I've seen a lot of the heavier hitters or stronger set out there but I quit about a week ago after it took out my gal like a bowling pin. Also a few days ago I got hit by a rip tide it was all I could do to out-swim next to the southern end of the floats. Also the water is filled with plastic discards from ice bags to shattered pieces of soda bottles and all kinds of food.

Wait until the mayor's cement wall along the shoreline past La Gaviota screws up the currents at that end of La Ropa. I'm extremely doubtful the project has the necessary Manifiesto de Impacto Ambiental from the federal environmental protection agency.
