How long ago did you get it ? Apparently they stopped issuing them to non citizens here in Zihuatanejo in the last year or two. Petatlan still issues them to residents.

What is going on here in Zihua. Cant get a drivers licence, stopped anyone with a fidisicomisio from getting property tax reduction, selling property, not allowed the personnel deduction. Do the local government not want foreigners to live here Also the Fed government raising the financial qualifications for permanent residency to around $7,000 US per month is way too high for most retirees

I find all this bad news less regrettable that we sold our house in Zihua and are no longer able to travel down.

Did you know any notary in the country can close your property here.
