The light show is incredible. My weather app on my phone said the rain would end at 7 pm which it did for about 10 minutes before it resumed in earnest. Forecasters missed this one.

Just hope it isn't the last one of the year. Such welcome relief from the heat, and the plants really need it.

I have been in Troncones for a lot of rain events over the past 30 years.
I don’t recall one when the rain had as much (welcome) cooling effect as this evening.

The cooling effect is something we haven't quite figured out, but with our weather station, it's starting to make more sense.
Log into it by going to weatherlink.com, following the directions and then find us at Casa 4 Vientos. That is our place near the dolphins on la Ropa.
