While the days remain warm and humid, Monday night was cool enough to sleep under the sheets right before sunrise. Hopefully by the end of this month evening temps will be consistently cooler than they've been. However, it doesn't look like much chance of rain anytime in the next few days. Bummer that. The tropical disturbance off our coast is predicted to continue swirling around far enough off our coast so as not to affect us.

Please remember that dengue is making the rounds and is quite prevalent in Zihuatanejo. If you plan to be sitting or lying outdoors, you may want to use repellent or at least have it handy if you start noticing mosquitos around.

Whales are already showing up along our coast, and if you'd like to get out on the water to see them, and maybe catch some fish along the way, I highly recommend the excellent services of my friend Ramón Olea and his panga "Oleaje".
