Hello, does anyone know why Cuattro Cycle is closed? Ughh...loved the latte!

It definitively not the reason as they were doing very well money wise...the real reason will not be disclosed here I am afraid

They have opened a restaurant in Troncones…..not sure why they would have closed a very successful business in Zihua liked and frequented by visitors and locals alike….. but it’s their business not mine…..we loved going there as well. It will be missed

The proprietor (Laura) of the small restaurant (Cherry's) on the corner from them said that the owner had moved to Troncones and wanted to rid herself of the daily commute. In addition, her sister (or other relative?) wanted to take over the location and moved her balloon business there. The space where the balloon shop was is now available. Again, this is all third hand. Just reporting the chisme.
It was a great location with tons of traffic so from a business standpoint, it would probably have made more sense to sell/license the Zihua location and open her location in Troncones. But as Grumpy said, it's her business.
Sometimes, the Almighty Peso is not the most important motivation in one's life.

They appear to be open! Arriving on Saturday and was planning on birthday desserts from them. Fingers crossed. Any updates?

They are open in Troncones but the Zihua location is gone for good...

That new location in Tronconnes is something to see!! Well worth the trip just to look at what they have built and all of the neat details and of course the food and pastries etc.
