Started last Saturday. Today, aside from at all the health centers, they were set up in front of Soriana and Bodega Aurerra.
We were able to get our pneumonia vaccinations, something we have not been able to do in the past due to not being old enough, too expensive in California or they just didn't have them.
Tetanus is what they are pushing for adults, and we stupidly turned them down. It is recommended ever 10 years so we are due. We'll go out again and get them.
So nice to be citizens of a country that just wants to vaccinate people, all people, and keep them healthy! Make it easy and free, and keep people healthy!!!
Thank you for sharing this info.

While it is a good idea to keep tetanus up to date, it is more important to keep your Pertussis and Diphtheria immunity up to date. In the US, tetanus “shots” automatically come with pertussis and diphtheria immunizations. If you have to options there make sure you get immunized for all three.

I sometimes wonder if what we are seeing in the United States is some kind of popluation self-destruction gene or enzyme or pheromone that is released when a society gets too stupid. My niece is a perfect example. When the initial COVID vaccines became available, she tearfully begged our family not to get the vaccine. She was convinced that anyone who received the vaccine would die within 2 to 3 years. I said, "<Insert name here>, here's your golden opportunity! In 2 or 3 years, you can have any house in any high-class neighborhood of San Diego!" It didn't go over well. To keep the peace between siblings, her sister lied and told her that she never got the vaccine.
Suffice to say, we are all still here 4 years after the vaccines became readily available. To the best of my knowledge, she still has never had a COVID vaccine. But we think that she did get COVID at least once.
Oh, yeah. She also is/was convinced that when you get the COVID test, the swab that is pushed into your nose is actually implanting a microchip. Or does it cause autism? Can't remember exactly what gems of wisdom has been imparted to us by Health and Human DisServices Secretary RFK, Jr.

Cases of myocarditis and pericarditis have rarely been observed after COVID-19 vaccination in the United States and evidence from multiple vaccine safety monitoring systems in the United States and around the globe supports a causal association between mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (i.e., Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech) and ...but right-wingers seems to think these adverse reactions are rampant. Maybe the same crowd who believe in alien abductions.
I heard an excellent term for Secretary Brain Worm's antivaxx strategy that I hope will be spread far and wide.
He is conducting a War on Children.

His stupid non-response to measles has now allowed it to spread into Mexico, mainly Chihuahua so far. We hadn't had measles in Mexico for decades until the current criminal regime was put in power in the USA by the absolute stupidest most hateful people in the world who chose evil over good when it counted the most.

Ah, c'mon Rob. Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel.
If the potential disastrous consequences weren't so damned serious to the survival of human civilization, this gong show would make for a hilarious sit-com series.
Noticeably absent here are the MAGAs telling us how happy they are that the Good Leader has everything under control and how everything will be just hunky-dory if it weren't for the evil woke trans athletes corrupting our innocent children.

It would not have spread to Mexico if the people there were adequately vaccinated. While the US needs to do better with vaccinations, so does Mexico

Doctor Medico, should those of us of a certain age get a measles booster? I read that some of the vaccines before 1968 did not always produce lifelong immunity? (Dr. Internet is a notoriously unreliable source.)

In the US you have the right not to take any vaccine and put others at risk. They’re called free thinkers aka idiots. I actually consider myself lucky to have all these free vaccines available. Back in the day I don’t remember any healthcare provider asking if you wanted a vaccine, they just gave it to you. Time to bring back the iron lung.

You'll have to excuse the poor rural Tarahumara for not being vaccinated against a disease that had been eradicated in Mexico for decades until someone brought it down from the States where it had also been eradicated for decades. The government is now actively vaccinating people, but the cat is out of the bag and there are already cases from Chihuahua to Chiapas.
Bobby would be so ashamed of his son.
