Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa Message Board - Mexico News Daily -- Any opinions?

Greetings, Fellow Zihua Lovers! When you have a moment and the motivation, would you please chime in with your opinions about Mexico News Daily? They have a daily newsletter that was free but is being discontinued. They will require a paid subscription to continue with their service. Personally, I have not felt it worthy of adding yet another news service subscription to the list of existing paid subscriptions. (This list sadly was reduced last fall when two billionaires owners decided to kiss the ring of the Orange Mussolini. Said goodbye to the Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times. And I simply can't take it upon myself to italicize them since I don't regard them as newspaper anymore but simply more corporate propoganists. Of course, I am sure they are happy with their decisions in light of the massive tax breaks they will be enjoying courtesy of the Invertebrate Republicans.)

Does anyone have any opinions, experiences, recommendations, etc. regarding they or any other Mexican news service? The New York Times has a Mexico City bureau and from time to time, I share their articles with this forum.

Curious - Does the Mexico News Daily have an English language version or is it easily translated (my Spanish is not up to par). I know, when in Rome and all, but as I age some things become more difficult such as accumulating additional linguistic skills.

I would say the Washington Post is still pretty good. The opinion page has been gutted, but they still have reporters and editors willing to practice journalism as opposed to raw propaganda.
