Paid mid day today, walked in and our number came up before it was in our hands. Got the normal INAPAM discount. Paying took about 30 minutes of waiting, the place was busy, but quiet and nicely cooled.
Price increased about 1.5% over last year.

People do but there is a price limit. We do not qualify because our 3 bedroom is 100,000 pesos over the limit. MANY people at our complex do get the discount.

First time we went in to pay our predial, in 2017, it was crowded, and they were asking for people with INAPAM cards. We held ours up, were escorted to an inside room, given chairs and water. They took our cards and all of our paperwork. They returned in about 10 minutes, again smiling and helpful and said that it was all taken care of, and the discount would always be in place. This year they asked for both of our cards, did something, smiled and it was done.
Maybe it was the magic year??

We were not able to get the Inapam discount last year because as mentioned by someone else if your property value was above a certain amount which ours apparently was, you did not qualify. Does anyone know what the early payment discount % is for paying in Jan?

15% 11% in Feb.
If it were me, I'd pursue the "too much value" thing.
Many people have large homes on large pieces of property in desirable areas. Our property taxes are high for here, yet we get the discount. Pursue it.

Does anyone know if the city offices are open this week? I assume they are closed tomorrow and want to avoid an extra trip to pay predial if possible.
