Immigration forms

We haven’t been to Zihua for a few years and are asking what the new procedures are regarding forms needed when going through airport customs. We used to fill out forms on the plane, but heard those are no longer supplied. Do we print them online now or are they totally obsolete? Thanks for the help!

There are no more immigration forms only a customs form, one per family. You will have plenty of time to fill that out while in the immigration line or waiting for your luggage or waiting in the customs line. Everything is very slow at the Zihua airport you will have plenty of time, no need to bother with it in advance.

Unless of course you’re sitting in the front of the plane and travel with carry on only. It took us, at most, 10 minutes from the time we were off the plane until we got to the ATM for the initial supply of pesos..

At the risk of being accused of being picky…. when a friend arrived last October he had to fill in a customs form, but not an immigration form.

When my cousin arrived last November he had the same experience.

Both arrived on non-stop flights from Vancouver, Canada.
