Wood Gate
I have a bamboo gate to my patio. Sun, rain, and bugs have taken their toll. Looking for something that looks good but can handle the elements. I’ve costed some Parota wood gates but the prices are $12,500 pesos! That may be the ultimate solution but thought I would reach out to see if others might know a local craftsman that may have a solution.

if you want to go with a bamboo replacement there is a gentleman, Aniva, who is often at the eco market near the museum. He sells bamboo furniture and maybe be able to help you. Sorry I don t have a phone number

Aníbal, like Hannibal. He's usually at the Eco-Tianguis on Saturdays, and he lives and has his workshop next door to Rufo's Restaurant on Calle Adelita in La Madera.

Unless he has moved back there, he hasn't been near Rufos for several years. He has been on C.Guatabos near the corner of Calle Higos, a block from Plaza Kioto.

As far as I know it's his home. Maybe he moved his main workshop.
