Thursday morning was cloudy and extremely humid. It was hot before the sun even rose, and we were soaked from our morning stroll before 7AM. Still no rain in our forecast, but it seems only our immediate region of Guerrero is not getting the rain that most of the rest of the state is getting. ¡Estamos sala'o!

While tourists remain sparse, local merchants enjoyed some sales today, though this evening even with a major fútbol game happening, most of the downtown venues were empty.

The pier remains in the dark without electricity, much to the consternation of boat captains, fishermen and visitors. I must've missed any announcement by the municipal government along with everyone else. Families normally fish there every evening for their meal, so this is much more than a minor inconvenience.

Speaking of major fútbol game, gotta cut this short.
