What a game! Mexico moves on to the Octavos de Final, and our next match is now against England next Sunday at 6PM. We can do this!

There were celebrations in the streets of downtown Zihuatanejo until the wee hours. Folks were extremely happy, literally dancing in the streets. Just what we needed.

The USA is also moving on to the next round. Good for them! They'll play Belgium on Monday evening at 6PM our local time.

It was hot and muggy from sunrise to sunset today. It looked like it was going to rain for much of the day, but it never did. It was like an outdoor sauna. Rain continues to be predicted for this Thursday, just like it was today.

The waves kicked up but didn't seem to bother swimmers at Zihuatanejo's Playa Principal. People have begun arriving as many schools are letting out after the school season was shortened by 2 weeks, and summer vacation is here.
