The pier

So what the plan for the pier? Dirt pile high and level with the pier or higher from pier cam.
Is it just supposed to be the same as it was with new concrete or something special with bench’s ,awnings and ticket booth for boats? Maybe restrooms and drinking fountains? Looks like a lot of work just to pour another concrete walkway.

The mayor has deviated so much from the original plan that no one knows what she's doing now, and the municipal government isn't saying. All the fishing captains are asking for transparency. Bold for them since they depend on many different "favors" and services from the municipal government. Usually they never criticize the local government, but the mayor has simply gone way overboard, way too far on this project. None of our friends and neighbors, except those who have benefited from corruption, are in favor of what the mayor is doing, but everyone's afraid to speak up.

We honestly don't know that we have ever seen a drinking fountain in Mexico, the logistics could be a challenge.

At least here, water is pumped periodically, not a constant pressurized flow like in the US. So, you would need, at the very least, a tinaco to store the water in, and it would have to be elevated to provide pressure. Then, what about treating the water? The tap water is supposed to be safe to drink when it leaves the treatment facilities, but once it leaves there, it goes through many many pipes, many with breaks in them and stuff growing in them. Then there is the condition of the tinaco to consider.

We think that is why, when water is provided in a business, or wherever, it is in a garrafon on a base with disposable vessels nearby.

Great idea, though
