Adolfo logs another 100 pound Roosterfish
SEEKING AN INSHORE WORLD RECORD
You might wish to consider chartering Capt. Adolfo Espinosa, panga Dos Hermanos, he is an inshore light tackle and fly fishing specialist. From May 2011 through early Jan., he has logged over 450 Roosterfish. Since 2008, his clients have brought to boat 3 Roosters in excess of 100 pounds including the current IGFA 80 pound line class of 106 pounds by Jeffry Reinhardt in 2008. He consistently releases fish in the 70-80 range. His clients also catch large numbers of Sierra Mackerel exceeding 9 pounds. He is difficult to book as his clients list is extending into 2014 at this time with some openings in 2012 & 2013. You can follow his and other ZIH Captains progress here: http://fishreportsixtapa.blogspot.com/ .
Adolfo books exclusively through Ed Kunze, edkunze@gmail.com .
Its length almost goes from one side of the boat to the other, that is an 8 foot beam. Plus, this photo does not do justice as to how thick the rooster is across the back.
The angler, MISSERI Jean Pierre, emailed the following photo.

This fish was taken on spin gear, as were all the other large roosters. This time it was taken with 30 pound braid backing. But, the client had a plane to catch that afternoon, to get back home, and decided to not seek IGFA certification due to time constraints. Thus the fish was released.
