Here are a couple of photos my lovely saint of a wife took today. The first one is from this morning of a dead fish sand sculpture at La Madera Beach, and the second one is of some of the waiters and workers at the restaurant "Arcadia" trying on new glasses donated by some of my readers (thanks especially to JoAnna).

NICE! I love those guys! And the fish too of course! I noticed that not too many locals wear prescription glasses... I figured it's because of all the good food and fresh air?

Is Casa Arcadia now owned by Daniel (so sorry on his passing)? What happened to Carlotta and the other waiters, Louise, Johnny, Rafael? Are they still there?

Casa Arcadia was leased from Carlota by Don Daniel, QEPD. Now his daughter and her family are running the restaurant. The waiters are still there, except for the one in the middle holding the canasta of glasses who decided being a murderer was more lucrative, until he got caught and sent to prison for 40 years.
We try to go there as often as we can to try to help support them, and we encourage everyone else to do the same.

All of the waiters are there except for Johnny. He has leased Restaurant Martha on Playa Mahowa on the road heading north out of Troncones. It is a wonderful stop with great food and service.
