On a Z Day

Here are some more photos from yesterday morning's walk to the western end of Calle Juan N. Álvarez and the bridge that crosses Las Salinas Lagoon to El Almacén and La Noria. Some vacationers are still around but the crowd has definitely thinned out, and next week when classes start we will be back to our normal slow-moving lifestyle under a hot tropical sun. The days and nights are slowly warming up, and fires across the country will soon fill the air with smoke as campesinos prepare their milpas for the upcoming rains.
