Photo Exhibition this weekend!

This coming Saturday & Sunday Lupita will be having a showing of Gene "Cri-Cri" Lysaker's photographs in the Plaza del Artista on downtown Zihuatanejo's waterfront. The exhibition is part of a larger one dedicated to celebrating Zihuatanejo's children of yesteryear. Most of the photos are from 40 and 50 years ago, including many old scenes of Zihuatanejo.
Lupita and our daughter Valeria have been working tirelessly getting photos selected and mounted from the treasure trove of old photos our dear friend Cri-Cri entrusted us with before his death 2 years ago. Here's a small sampling of what will be on display:

Don't forget to come see over 500 photos by Gene "Cri-Cri" Lysaker of Zihuatanejo and its children from around 50 years ago at the Plaza del Artista this Saturday and Sunday.
Lupita informed me last night that these photos can be purchased, so ask for Lupita or Toño if you see something you would like to have.

I hope everyone enjoyed the photo exposition this weekend! Lupita and the other folks worked their tails off to make it happen. Only two photos were stolen! Lots of locals came to enjoy the photos of their old family members and friends as well as lots of scenes of old Zihuatanejo, the one many of us fell in love with and that flaunted our finer points.
