The Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) is now calling it a 5.9. It was originally reported as a 6.3. All I know is Lupita and I grabbed each other and ran outside half-dressed, half-awake around 2:30 in the morning. A taxi zoomed past at about 180kph, the empty disco around the corner never stopped blaring their horrible music to an empty building, and the few guests in the posadas and hotels I could see made their way down into the lobbies and the street, while off in the distance near LadyM's end of the street someone's car alarm sounded incessantly.
Of course then Lupita and I couldn't sleep so we talked in bed for another hour and a half or so until we finally fell back to sleep.
No damages to report so far.

I have not been sleeping well, so after a hard day fishing and saying goodby to a friend, Paul and I slept right through this one. We had both taken something to help us sleep through the night. Let's just hope that we don't have more and that if we do they are small enough that we all sleep through them.
