Trip report...day 5....maybe 6
Arrived about 5 days ago...maybe 6. What an easy airport to get your pesos and head to the condo, casa, hotel, etc...From touchdown to landing we were at our place 40 minutes later(had to stop to get some cold ones). That night just walked to La Perla and had a good meal, then walked back...the 1st day starts at 3 am so it was nice to get back to the casa ...maybe have a little sip of tequila then crash...next day was La Ropa (okay that's been every day so to save time I won't put that in anymore). Ceviche and tuna salad at Rossy's for lunch...delicious..that night we went with friends to Israel's (El Murmullo). What a great place (one of our favourites here, althought I find most places I go to are one of my favourites here). Next morning..margaritas (Felix I mean the restaurant). Thank you CD..it's because of you and this board that we found out about this place..great breakfast and atmosphere...That night Il Mare...as usual, the service the food and the view was wonderful. The next night our friend took us to that great sushi place (someone please tell me the name of it). Awesome! and a full house which was nice to see. Last night Los Braseros for some fish tacos. Wow...so good. Once againg thanks to this board and a poster (caza....i think)we found out about this place...this place was also about 80% full. Okay those are the restaurants so far...honorable mentions...the cheese man Bernardo selling cheese on La ropa..delicious...Playa La Ropa......the sky tonight (Rob I hope you are taking pictures)...how does one spell Allyhandra, but that is the wonderful lady selling tacos de pappas and barbque tacos and others on the beach...how can you beat sitting in a little beach chair and some delightful person comes by and serves you these great tacos...Today for my wife and I to feast it cost about $8 canadian with a 20 percent tip and we were stuffed. I love Zihuatanejo. Take care everyone......PS..If anyone knows where I can still get that Amercer Ranchero tequila it would be greatly appreciated.
