Day 10ish

Ok...here we go...we all (some of us) know this feeling....sitting here at this bittersweet moment...more bitter than sweet...where it is the last night and your going home tomorrow, going back to my kids (older)(sweet) and dogs (sweet) and work (how I get to come here..bitter-sweet), and wishing that clock would just slow down. On the terrace, it's 30 above....the water at La Ropa today was great...had several Zihua moments today... a young gal (Leo)(vendor) on the beach giving my wife a present to take back home...doubt if that happens in Acapulco or Can what's it name...Luis from Bodega tequila for getting his uncle? to open up his shop so I can get some great tequila (I really didn't ask..he just offered...Plus Luis taught me the art of the Jarrito and I forever will be grateful amigo). We had an incredible meal tonight with good friends and fantastic musicians playing some songs for us. I love the pan flute...I love Zihua....Sorry, I forgot this was a trip report.(did I mention that I try to get rid of my beer and tequila (maybe some rum) on my last night because I don't want it to go bad...and I am bitter (see above)..so here goes with the report and some incredible spelling mistakes....I have no idea what order this was, I don't really even know what day it is...I just know I have to leave tomorrow....honourable mentions in no particular order....Pizzas Locas...ordered in one night....showed up in 20 minutes with a great pollo and peach pizza...honestly before tip...it was about 12 bucks...delicious....Finally made it back to Playa Larga... I am sure every restaurant is great there. The one beside the parking lot (to the north?)..el Oleaje...was awesome...so was everything else about Playa Larga...including Juan who we (mi esposa) bought some wonderful wooden bowls off of...Also bought a really cool cross off of Roberto....Went back to Israel's at Murmello (sp?) as always, a great experience and great food...just after picking up the tequila, I got some tacos de pescado for take out from Los Braseros....crazy how good it is....tonight ate at the Italian place...wow..the clam dish...service....everything. I love Zihua...time for me to go to bed...at least quit typing.....hey and Rob..thanks for this board, ...I know we disagree on things, but isn't that the spice of life...and thanks...Keith, Craig...Calbear, Fran, Lady M, Mr. and Mrs. Grumpy....and mi amigo Freddy who I know just spreads love the whole time he is down here......and all the rest of you.....this is a great board....and this is great town....gnight everybody.....shit, I can't come back until next Easter....(did I type that out loud)?
