Another Z Sunrise (tequila optional)
Yesterday was one of the more pleasant and milder says we've had all summer. A coolish breeze arrived the night before and it remained overcast most of yesterday but no rain in our area. July is turning out just like I predicted it would, if anyone recalls that far back.
We also got city water yesterday after 3 days without. It filled our two tinacos, but wouldn't ya know one of the tinacos that we share with the renters of our locales was empty by midday. It turns out one of our renters apparently left a faucet open after opening it when there was no water. Personally I can't understand why someone would open a faucet, have no water come out, then leave it open. But some women assure me they can understand it, saying that not everyone knows the old "left is loose, right is tight" rule, and of course not all kitchen and bathroom faucets actually follow that rule. Okay, but at least we have water in our kitchen and bathroom, and after 3 days of bucket baths a real shower was simply exquisite! The plants enjoyed a good drink, too.
I thought you might like a couple of photos, so here's a nice shot from the pier from a few days ago and one from our rooftop this morning while checking our water levels. I never take these views for granted, so these shots are taken and shared with love.
