Troncones-Mahagua School

I have a message from a very nice person named Kris Hughes and she is asking me about a school she donated to but I do not know the answer. Maybe someone else can help answer. Here is her question:
I think you are the lady we met with Isabella in the restaurant one day. It was me and my sister from the US. We donated school supplies and fans to the elementary school in Troncones. I think it was in Playa Majaha. We took pictures and we would like to send copies to the school. Can you find out the address to where we need to send it?
We enjoyed our visit in your village.

I can help somewhat but probably not in the way you want. First, I would never recommend mailing anything to Mexico, and more so to a rural area like this. others may disagree with me, but I have had nothing but bad luck.

Next is we do not have address in rural areas, so there is none to give. Majahua and Troncones are two different places each having an elementary school, but there is no separate destination or town for Majahua.

I would recommend giving the photos to someone there (or mailing them) that is coming here on vacation and have them hand deliver the photos. It is the only sure fire way to do this.

The other option would be via email to someone here that can develop them locally and deliver them.

What? No one at the school has an e-mail address? I believe that's what is being asked, though I could be wrong.

Even I get SOME snail mail from the States. Got two letters in the past week!

I certainly am no evaluator of the P>O in MX but have had good luck using the PO Box at the post office in Z. Now, out in the boondocks could certainly be another sotry!

Haven't used a APDO in 25 years or so. I actually have a STREET ADDRESS. Now we have a little discrepancy with the house number after the city tried "ordering" the numbers, but other than that it works just fine. :-o

I don't see anyone asking anywhere for the email address of anyone Rob. And good for you on getting mail. The couple of times I have tried it takes more than a month and sometimes not at all. We DO NOT have address here, no house numbers or anything, though putting, in Spanish, Elementary School Majahua, Troncones, Ejido Emiliano Zapata, La Unión de Isidoro Montes de Oca might get it here, it equally might not. Anyway, Ernie provided the FaceBook page for Isabela, I am sure she is smarter than I am to figure it out
