Z Children's Surfing Tournament

This morning at Playa La Madera there were dozens of families with their children who aspire to be surfers. I wish I had the time to post more of the photos I took, but I've got a date with my sweetie and my Mother Dearest, so I shouldn't keep them waiting.

Lots of our friends were at the beach with their kids and it was truly a typical Zihuatanejo festive occasion. I hope this becomes a regular event. Everyone sure seemed like they were having a terrific time including the folks with their pets. I would only ask that folks please keep their dogs under control if not on a leash since someone's pit bull was running amok playing but bothering and scaring a few folks and generally ruining a good thing for all the responsible pet owners. The Eco-guardian was throwing rocks at it which I found just as bad as the person who let it run loose.
