After Z Stormy Night
I'm pretty sure the thunderstorm last night between 1am and 3am woke everyone in town up and had dogs trembling all up and down the coast. The lightning strikes were close by and frequent, and I thought for sure we took a hit but couldn't see any damage this morning. But after the buildup of heat during the day all day yesterday last night's cooling rain was a welcome relief. It was still rather dark and cloudy at dawn today, and we've had some sprinkles, but no more thunder. The relatively cool and mostly overcast day is one of the reasons many of us love the rainy season so much.
Here's what the bay looked like this morning.
