Never thought I'd have to ask this while in Zihua but as we are in need of doing a small bit of dry cleaning, is there a dry cleaners in Zihua or Ixtapa? If there is where would it be?

My comment won't be very helpfull in terms of where it is - I could drive you there if I was there...
Rather, a confirmation that there is a laundry service in Ixtapa - we have used it several times. I cannot confirm if they dryclean but, they fold clothes very well, and wash with the most fragrant detergent...

In Zihuatanejo on Catalina Gonzalez, just off Cinco de Mayo. Look for "Lavado in Seco"

I've never used that place so I can't give it a recommendation. I stick with the place I've used for over 25 years.

The tintorería is in Zihuatanejo near the Oficina de Correos. If you are coming from downtown Zihuatanejo go to Avenida Morelos as if going to Ixtapa. It becomes Avenida Heróico Colegio Militar at a street light where it V's off into two one-way roads. Take the first road on your left after the streetlight where the roads separate into two. It's a small divided road, and the tintorería is on the right just before you get to the post office. Here's a street view of the place: https://goo.gl/maps/FHRVP
If you miss the turnoff then take the next turnoff beside Restaurante Carmelita and just come back towards it.
