You certainly captured the sites, smells and sounds of the markets! And you posted on our 25th anniversary so it's a wonderful gift to keep us going 'til February.

I loved taking pictures at the markets. I still remember our first visit in the late 80s. Outside the market was a Bimbo Bakery truck. The Bimbo name really tickled me and I had to have a picture to show back home. Now we see Bimbo Bakery truck in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area.
Really been enjoying your pictures. Sorry you'll be leaving soon. I'll miss your work.

Thank you so much. I chuckled when I first saw the bimbo name as well. Only in Mexico can a white bimbo (bimbo blanca) be a loaf of bread and a lesbiana a cocktail. Take care.

And what in the world would it be if you ordered both at the same time? Bimbo lesbiana.

You know, I've never tried that - but I may the next time I get back to the world of warmth.

You photographs are very nice. I can understand your need to blur the facial images in the photographs, I think; but unfortunately, for me it detracts from the enjoyment of each. Thanks for posting.

Hola Lani. Cameron didn't blur the faces. He took time-lapse photos and the people were of course in motion, so that's why they appear blurred. In this case I believe he was using the effect to highlight the hustle and bustle of the places being portrayed.

Oops...I guess I am lacking a bit in photography knowledge. Sorry. I'd like to blame this post on my recent cataract surgery, but I guess I better not. All kidding aside, I DO enjoy the market pictures very much. Gracias por la explicación, Rob.

De nada, Lani. Con mucho gusto.
I hope your surgery was a success and that you will be able to see much better than before! ¡Saludos!

I had both eyes "de-cataracted" this year--amazing change. And the 1st time in 70 years w/o glasses.
