Rain? Really?
Yesterday was one of the very few times (maybe only time actually) in many, many Dec-March trips that it was overcast all day. Now it is raining? Have been watching a nice lightning show just a couple miles off shore the past 20 minutes or so and now the rain has started. Lowered the umbrellas, brought in the cushions. WTF?

Very beautiful time of the year. This is not the first time we have had December rain, but this is one of the more calmer ones.

Not to question anyone's memory, amiga, but my wife Lupita says it's the first time she remembers it ever raining on this date.

I do not know about "this date" but December rain the year Paul and I were married and spending our honeymoon here.
PS. That was the only time he was ever in Zihua in Dec. until now.

Ha ha! I know a story like that! I had to do the same thing 22 or 23 years ago when it rained throughout the entire month of February and the bay water was cold and Lupita and I would drive out to the Calpulli and I would swim out to the boat (a little Boston Whaler I was looking after) and bail while Lupita waited for me at their beachfront restaurant and ordered up some hot chocolate for my return. That was a looooong month.
