Adios Restaurant El Pueblito

Imagine our surprise when we arrived at El Pueblito yesterday for posole. It's now No Se Lo Digas a Nadie. No Don Enrique, no Maria Elena, no Miquel Angel. No traditional Mexican music. Aye!

The posole was pretty good and they've spiffed the place up. We listened to an amplified radio talk show for a half hour or so. When we asked for some music they played DJ Banda (not so good) and some Musica Tropical, which was nice. The service was quite good. We expect they wanted to be ready for the transvestite shows later in the day.

I'll stop by Maria Elena's sister's bridal shop next week to see how the family is doing.

This place changed hands about 4 months ago. The food is good. The service is better than ever. The show is interesting and the music is not too loud. The new Owner/Manager or whatever you want to call him, Efrin is very good to deal with and should do a good job with keeping it going.
