Can anyone recommend a hair dresser/ make up stylist for my daughters wedding in March? We are down here this week and would like to do a trial run.

I have a young girl working for me that does makeup. Not hair. She also gives pedicures/manicures.

I recommend Salon de Belleza Gladis on Calle Palapas ,She did My Step Daughters Hair & Makeup for Her 15 Años it was Fantastic. Calle Palapas is where You turn to go to DIF ,any Taxi Driver will know. Gladis is great !

The go to person for this is Olivia Winslow. Cel. 755-1150167 and email:faithgirl18@hotmail.com. Olivia speaks fluent english and since our beloved Kimberly Nichols left, most of us long, long time residents are now using Olivia. She's excellent and can provide full service for the wedding party. If you don't speak good spanish, with all the stress involved in a wedding, you are going to want someone to do hair and nails that you can communicate with!!!!!!!! There are many many really good hairdressers in the area, but to my knowledge only Olivia is a native english speaker.

She's working at Joseph's part-time this year. She likes coming to your home and I prefer my house to Joseph's salon.

I would recommend Isela at Salon Rosostros. She is trained in Mexico City and is very professional for makeup and hair. She has a portfolio. Her salon is in the little alleyway next to Papa Locas (which almost everyone knows the location of). Her phone number is 7555549799. She only speaks Spanish though.
