Sights that make you go Z WOW!

There are so many great egrets in the bay for the winter it seems like they are everywhere. Not only are they beautiful, but they appear to be quite aware of the fact, and they adorn our shoreline and estuaries as if placed there for aesthetic purposes. How many egrets can you count in the following photo?

As our local population increases, the number of shore fishermen looking for their daily sustenance has also increased, and now early each morning along our beaches and shoreline you'll see numerous fishermen.

Recently when Frostbite and his too-lovely wife were in town, they invited us over for a wonderful evening with some of their Mexican-Alaskan friends. The View from Frostbite's place is quite hypnotic, and it's easy to find yourself mesmerized and tuning out everything else but The View.
