Back to square one.... looking for lodging
Oh my......I am so frustrated right now.
I was informed that my reservation at Casa Puesta Del Sol is not available as it was previously rented during the same dates and it got missed on the calendar.... Literally like 1 hour after I had cancelled my previous reservations.
Now...I have no where to stay and have to start all over again. Seriously....this shouldnt be so hard....

Go to Bungalows Solecito-you will not be disappointed--casita or just a room. Restaurant on site I think. Short walk down the beach to the enramadas/village--maybe 1 km.
Just do it and all will be OK again!

I don't know when you are arriving or what the availability picture is; but Villas-Tuparaiso in the village is a clean well run place to stay. Check out their website on the net. They are right in the village and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Their website is very informative and 100 % accurate.

we are staying in Barra de Potosi at Hacienda La Rus for three nights in February. Not sure if they have availability for your times but they have a booking calendar on their site that shows their availability.

One reason I don't list any VRBO sites is due to their unreliability. You don't always get what you bargain for. And in too many cases folks listed there are simply dodging taxes and risking having their guests literally evicted into the street by local authorities.
Where there ARE many reliable options is RIGHT HERE ON MY WEBSITE. I already listed an excellent list of options the last time Tarawind asked this question.

I am still trying to get something off of that list, but due to my budget and now my in laws have decided to come wiht us...on our dime.... it is harder to find accomedations for 4 than it is for two (I dont want to sleep in the same room as my in-laws.... I dont even want to see them in pj's if truth be told...lol) but I am giving it my best....

Hi Tara -- Villas Tu Paraiso is the best deal and 2 rooms will cost about the same as 1 room on the beach. Plus there are a bunch of eateries right next door; so you won't have to cook for yourself.
