So yesterday I drove My Boss to the Airport and waited to pickup a Former Boss due in a couple hours later , Here comes a real macho type little Guy saying " You don't have permission to pick up People " and He proceeds to take My photo and also one of My vehicle , his name that I got off His ID badge is , Jose Luis Vargas Mendez ,
He wasn't so macho when I grabbed My Camera to take His photo ,He ducked his head and scurried off to his nest ! Big liitle man with no huevos °
PS ,When I asked who he worked for ,said He was hired to take photos of people picking up at the Airport .

Thanks for the info and for documenting yet another case of harassment by taxi syndicates.
Can you post photos of him even if they aren't good?

In the same vein,was there yesterday,they now let the "time share" people stand right at the doors exiting immigration customs.They used to be further outside waiting like the rest of the people.

They have been right in the face of people exiting immigration/customs for quite a while. When I am there picking up my family I always want to tell the people they snag what they are. Disgusting.

Our daughter and her friend arrived on Thursday. We met them just to say "Hola", then they boarded their bus for the free transfer to their hotel in Ixtapa. Just as they mounted the steps into the bus, there was a guy selling Coronas at 40 pesos a pop. Everyone's out to make a buck.
(Of course they could have said "No gracias".....but not our daughter)

One of my favorite things to do upon arriving in Zihuatanejo is to buy una cerveza fria at the little stand before catching our ride into town. Price is high, but the weather's hot and I'm thirsty!
