This one is called Katrina's and it will surprise and delight you. I wish I had taken photos of our fare but I was too busy savoring the tastes of a new and refreshing menu specializing in Oaxacan recipes. Specialty is mescal and I had a cucumber margarita with mescal ... you won't believe this new take on margaritas. They serve shots of mescal with small orange slices that you dip in 3 kinds of salt ... one of which is sal del gusano, and it is also a palate surprise! They even have a hamburger, which is like a quarter pounder and is a completely different hamburger from anything you have experienced anywhere. Small tacos of fish ahumado served tightly wrapped and a sauce of mayonnaise with sal del gusano ... it is amazing. And for dessert!!!!! Chocolate like you have never had ... a small round little cake served piping hot with peach sauce dribbed on the plate and the inside is all melted chocolate. Nirvana!! Located where the old Chuleto's was, right on the corner near Sirena Gorda. You will even find your favorite waiter, Pedro, from Tentaciones there to serve you. Great service, great food ... tell them Judith sent you and they will give me a free margarita next time. Oh I forgot to say that prices are in the medium range, not very expensive.

Glad you enjoyed the place but old news already 
They have been opened for 1.5 year already in Zihua and also have a location in Acapulco. Excellent chef but a bit pricey, especially for the locals.

The fact that they have lasted over a year still makes them "the new kid on the block" considering all the restaurants that open and close around here.

It may be old news to some, but I don't get out much at night and while I had heard of the place before, I had not had the pleasure of experiencing it. And it is an experience! When I find a place I like so much I just want to spread the news. Sorry you and some others were way ahead of me, so why didn't you post about it so I might have gone sooner????

You must have missed my posts on them last year and last winter I will try to keep you 9more in the loop on the "in" places in Zihua next time I'm there
