Making a wrong turn here will get you killed...

I live near Chicago. Everyone here knows if you take a wrong turn you could be in an area that might cause you trouble.
Question; If I go exploring Zihua by myself, in the middle of the day, is it possible for me to take a wrong turn and end up in an area where I am not safe?
