My best friend Colleen, her 12 year old son Roger and I are going to visit Zihuatanejo in June for 9 days. We would like to rent a small bungalow or villa. One room with two beds and kitchen is fine. A small, 2 bed suite/guestroom with a kitchenette would be OK too. Air conditioning a plus! Our budget is limited though. Ideally we'd like to keep our total lodgings (tax included) between $300 and $400. If you know of anything please let me know.
I've had a positive response from Bungalows Ley, but there are no pictures and details are sketchy. Does anyone have experience with them?
Valle Properties also offered me their one bedroom apartment at $40/night, but their web site advertises it at $30/night. Is it common for places to ignore their own advertised rates? Should I insist on the advertised price if I want to book it? Does anyone have other experience with Valle Properties?
