We stayed at Bungalows Ley this last trip. It's very nice, well maintained, and very accessible. There are eight units in all. Some with two queens and some with one king. All but two units have air. All units have small kitchens. Units 2 and 3 have their kitchens outside (which we really enjoyed - we stayed in 2)on the very large patio shared with 3. Units 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 share large patios equipped with hammocks, chaises, tables and chairs. Unit 1 has its own. Units 6,7, and 8 are at beach level. Patios with tables, chairs, and chases but no hammocks. No. 6 is a two bedroom unit. 7 and 8 are the newest units however they are not as well kept as the other six. 1 - 5 being higher up catch a better breeze.
Gladys Ley runs a good operation and does a good job resonding to email. Agustin manages things except Wednesdays when he's off. Agustin is quite experienced in the lodging trade in the area and is a gracious but not overwhelming host.
I would recommend Ley over several of its neighbors simply based on the numbers of folks staying nearby who stopped in and spoke to us.
There are some less expensive places such as Casa Adriana which has a link you can find through Rob's site. Two beds, patios which face the beach and catch the breeze, and kitchenettes. No air. Beach access is not as direct as Ley.
