My wife and I have stayed at Bungalows Ley for the past three vacations. Luckily we have managed to stay in #1, 2 & 3. We have never seen anyone spend more than one night in # 8. This past spring after many faxes and emails to la senora Gladys requesting either #2 or 3 we were assured that this would be possible. 2 weeks before our departure for Zihua we received an email saying that this would not be possible for the first 3 nights but that she would arrange for us to stay next door at Brisas del Mar. Okay we thought.
Upon our arrival we were told that no arrangements had been made for staying next door but #1 (a 2 bedroom unit) could be had for $20 US more per night for either 3 or 7 nights when it would be possible to move to #2. After one night in #1 we opted for 7 nights (it is very nice) despite the additional cost.
When it was time to move to #2 we were told that it was not available but we could have #3 (or #8). We chose #3 of course (also very nice).
We like the place and location but have become skeptical about staying there again because of these uncertainties.
Senora Gladys, if you read this, take note.
