Signs in English

Just read a story there is consideration to add English language signs around town to help navigate English speaking tourists (Canadian was emphasized). The story added that some locals fear gentrification, etc.

I personally would not want to see the addition of English language signs.

What are your thoughts?

Several Appliances we just bought did not come with an English version of instruction manual. How about WE START THERE!
