As reported to me by a neighbor/friend, during the pier event for Sailfest, the public restrooms were available for use with no charge.

Last night he was required to pay for their use. When he asked he was told that the Presidente did not approve of parts of GuitarFest.

OK, so where does the money go? They raise a lot of it, like Sailfest, but Sailfest puts basically all of the money raised back into the community. Where does the Guitar Fest money go? It is all volunteers, and donated lodging for the artists, right?

Yeah it was 7 pesos and it was far enough away that if you held it in for long you might wish you hadn’t.
Always pisses me off!
As far as where the money goes I have heard for ‘music programs’.
But someone can answer that much better than I.
Perhaps Heidi Nygard, the Director.
By the way is the Presidente the Mayor?
Or someone else?
