It's too bad this local government does not handle these situations better. Actually, having a population of crocs that are harmless for the most part and easy to see could be a bonus for tourism. Some ecotourism tours could be given about them with some education on the do's and don'ts instead of the fear-mongering. Lots of missed opportunities for the Zihua-Ixtapa area for this kind of tourism!
