Is there a known reason why the city is not spraying for mosquitoes? Will this be the new norm there? Dengue is very serious and so I’m surprised they stopped doing this.

It's to be expected in a city where the politician in charge is only simulating their duties because their real goal is to pocket as much of the public budget for themselves and still pay a handsome sum to marketing specialists for boosting their image for the next election in 3 years. They don't really care about "we the people". Just like in Florida.
